EMIGRANTS ASSOCIATION OF DYMES

The Emigrants Association of Dymes was founded in 1990 from a team of progressive emigrants of our Community that were in total 63 individuals.

The fundamental objectives of the association are:

• The culture and growth of relations of friendship and collaboration and solidarity between the emigrants and the residents of our community.
• The maintenance and growth of the origin beams of the emigrants of our Community.
• The resurgence and invigoration of the Community Dymes and the contribution in the promotion and resolution of the problems that it faces.
• The guarantee and growth of the popular traditions and cultural heritage of the community.

In its 21 years of life, the Emigrants Association of Dymes contributed considerably in the realization of various works in the community like the manufacture of the Community park, the maintenance of the school and the extension of its courtyard in order to be used for other village purposes and also the construction of the new church.

The Emigrants Association of Dymes numbers today roughly 110 members and works always in collaboration with the Chairman and the Members of the Community Council of Dymes for the achievement of the objectives that were placed by its foundation.
