Because of the big urbanism that affected our community in the decades that passed, today most of residents of the village that remained are found in the "third age". Thus it was created the need for the activation of the Social Prosperity Council of Dymes in 2001.

The main objective of the council is the improvement of the quality of life of the individuals of the "third age" via various programs of the prosperity office.

Today the council functions a program of house care to various old individuals that have direct need from support and help at their house.

The Council of Social Prosperity organizes also various excursions for the old individuals giving them the occasion for more entertainment.

Daily the needs of the individuals of the third age are increased and our objective is to maintain these programs despite the big difficulties that we face because the offer to the old individuals is not only imposed but is also our obligation.
